Gwangju Chungjangro Stay Hotel

we had such a great experience from that place. Very quiet, FANCY!( it has some storage - for clothes u can hang for over night then all bad small were gone!!!) And such great breakfast free! Also close to everywhere, and front desk is very kind. We loved

Rooms where small. We had 1 queen and 1 twin. Again, place located main town so that understood. No other! Great place!

It was decent with the price of the hotel and the location of it.

Overall, I had a comfortable and pleasant stay – the rooms were clean, staff very helpful, and location convenient. The only thing I wished for was more variety in the breakfast, as it was mostly Korean dishes.

Korean breakfast is excellent and prepared by a lovely woman who greeted us every morning. Front office staff was helpful with all our requests.

The breakfast should be a little upgrade.Looks like need more consider for all the tourlristfrom other country.

Please find other place for cat food. Some people could have allergy or.....

1: The room and toilet is extremely clean. Room is bright, bed is spacious, and overall a very comfortable stay. :)2: The hotel is about a 5 mins walk from the nearest subway station, which is ok. :) There are restaurants and eateries nearby. If you are hungry in the middle of the night, the hotel also has snacks/instant noodles at the 1F lobby. Affordable prices!3: Staff is very friendly. Hotel price is value for $.4: [Perhaps the most important point] The hotel offers free breakfast! It is a mini-buffet mainly made of Korean dishes (rice, stew, soup, vegetables) and toast+eggs. The ahjuma cooking those food is friendly, and the food is delicious :D

All is good :)

Breakfast is good. The location is very close to the Fashion District, a 7-11, a grocery store, and a very good barbecue place

Very and helpful welcoming front desk staff.Comfortable and spacious bedroom.Reasonably convenient location (Gwangju city is not ideally organised, but the hotel location is as good as it gets in this configuration).Good price for the overall experience.

No issue.

The staff were all very friendly on all shifts. The disco grout in the bathroom gave us a much needed giggle. Almost everything we needed in the room was available, including bottled water and a mini fridge. Hot and cold options were available for the breakfast, and the picky American could pull something together. Couldn't hear other people even though breakfast was very busy.

It didn't look anything like the pictures, including the one showing while I type this. Dark blue/purple walls and mattress pallet, room is a square with the beds smooshed in on one side and the other side is one long table with thing stored under and on it, and a smaller table with pull out stools. And a UV cabinet thing. Bathroom door is semi-frosted glass, so no privacy if sharing. It was also very, very hot in our room and there didn't seem to be any way to cool it down. Sadly, I was also allergic to something they used to clean the bedding, so it was an itchy, hot weekend.

Modern facilities and value for money paid. Overall pleasant stay. Location within in a decent shopping district and 15-20 mins walk to Gwangju's national art centre & art street. 5 mins walk to metro. Friendly staff.

A little difficult to locate at the alley but once found it was OK.

Fresh modern hotel with good sized room and bathroom. Very central location. Great breakfast. Helpful staff

Nil

Good sized rooms with almost everything you could want.

Breakfast area too small for the number of guests. Breakfast choices a little limited.

Staying close to dowtown in a comfortable room for a very reasonable price !

Breakfast was a choice between bread and butter and Korean fare. Most side dishes are the same daily buy they change up the stew and soups every day. It's quite filling and the dining room lady is very nice. The bathroom is also big and comfortable. We just didn't like the whole door is not frosted, so if you're traveling with friends, you have to be mindful or cover it so you won't be seen.

The second floor area has a smell, we think because the dining room is located there. But other than that, the place is clean.

Breakfast which was included in the price was great. Hearty and tasty. Service was good, too.

The hotel is located amongst some not so good looking old, run down buildings such that sight from the room was not so pleasant.

Big and spacious room. Nice and strong showers and many toiletries provided. Staff was friendly and the breakfast very diverse and filling. The hotel is located very centrally and close to the subway line.Comfortable bed.

Staff was excellent. They were very helpful with getting taxis, assuring room needed housekeeping and providing wayfinding in the city.

great price for one night in the city center, high text equipped room for business travellers.

Contruction next doors where works starst at 07AM, poor breakfast

Good location. Large room and nice bed.

“Windows” were a mirror just. Didn’t bother me but might put others off

good location, room size okay, very good Kroean breakfast

The Stay Hotel was located in the city center so we got easily to the restaurants and cafes. It was very quiet area. The room was good and the breakfast was alright. We had no big problem during our stay.

We did not like the mirrors on the windows because there was no nature light. Of course, we were able to open the blinds "mirrors" to get some light but there was mold everywhere on the windows. Also, we were little bit disappointed during breakfast because we would love to enjoy our breakfast, however, the worker was pushing us to leave and let other people to sit. The breakfast room is very small.
